Mr. Mohammed BOUSSAID,Minister of Economy and Finance, received Thursday February 20th 2018 in Rabat, Mr. Suma CHAKRABARTI, President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and this during his official visit to Morocco.The President of the (EBRD) was accompagned by Mr. Douglas NEVISON, the (EBRD) Director for Morocco.
During this meeting, Mr. BOUSSAID and CHAKRABARTI reviewed the various aspects of cooperation between Morocco and the (EBRD). Both sides welcomed the quality of relations between the two parties which represents a key partner among international financial institutions acting in our country.
Mr. BOUSSAID expressed satisfaction for the evolution of the (EBRD) actions in Morocco and the diversification of its portfolio which point towards significant future cooperation between Morocco and the (EBRD).
He stressed the relevance of the Bank’s approach to establish a local framework with large corporations as well as small and medium- sized companies and very small businesses.
Mr. BOUSSAID and Mr. CHAKRABARTI reasserted their common will to further boost cooperation between Morocco and the (EBRD).
