A memorandum of understanding and an agreement signed by the Minister of Economy and Finance in Accra

His Majesty King Mohammed VI, along with His Excellency Prince Moulay Ismail, and the President of the Republic of Ghana, Mr. Nana Akufo-Addo, chaired at the presidential palace in Accra, Friday, February 17th the signing ceremony of 25 government agreements and those relating to public-private partnership in various areas of cooperation between both countries. ​

On this occasion, Mr. Mohammed BOUSSAID, Minister of Economy and Finance, signed a memorandum of understanding and an agreement:

  • The Memorandum of Understanding relates to the opening of negotiations for an agreement on the mutual promotion and protection of investments. It was signed with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Regional Integration of Ghana, Mrs. Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey.

  • The agreement addresses double taxation and prevent fraud with respect to taxes on income. It was signed with the Minister of Finance of Ghana, Mr. Ken Ofori-Atta.
