During the signing ceremony of these bilateral convention and agreement cooperations, headed by His Majesty the King Mohammed VI, May God Assist Him, and the president of the republic of Madagascar, Mr. Hery Rajaonarimampanina, on November 21st , 2016 at the presidential palace in Antananarivo, Mr. Mohammed BOUSSAID, Minister of Economy and Finance and Rakotorimana François Marie Maurice Gervais , Madagascan Minister of Finance and Budget, signed an agreement on avoiding double taxation and prevent tax evasion in terms of income tax.
At the end of this event, M. BOUSSAID stated to the press that the signed agreements and conventions are a new starting-point within the framework of the south-south cooperation that His Majesty the King supports; a cooperation based on a partnership that will positively impact the population of this country through direct investment that will be implemented by businessmen today present in Madagascar within the framework of the royal visit.
