Meeting of the Minister of Economy and Finance with Mr. Abbas Mahamat TOLLI, President of the Central African States Development Bank (BDEAC)

Mr. Mohamed BOUSSAID, Minister of Economy and Finance, together with Mr. Driss EL AZAMI EL IDRISSI, Minister Delegate to the Minister of Economy and Finance in charge of the budget, received Monday, February 29th , 2016 in Rabat, Mr. Abbas Mahamat TOLLI, President of the (BDEAC) who was on a working visit to Morocco.
 

During this meeting, the two officials shared views on prospects for cooperation between Morocco and the (BDEAC) and on ways and means to further strengthen economic links between Morocco and the (CEMAC) countries “the Central African Economic and Monetary Community”.

​ Recalling Morocco's strategy to develop its relations with the African continent under the leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, May God Assist Him, the Minister of Economy and Finance reiterated the interest of the Kingdom to strengthen its relations with the (CEMAC) countries within the framework of South-South cooperation and promote regional integration.

On the other hand, Mr. TOLLI welcomed the warm hospitality of Morocco and the fruitful discussions he had with the Minister of Economy and Finance. He then stressed the strategic role that the Kingdom of Morocco plays to strengthen South-South cooperation between African countries and specifically the (CEMAC) countries.
