Macro-economic seminar between the Directorate of Studies and Financial Forecasts and the General Directorate of the Treasury

As part of the Moroccan-French cooperation between the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Morocco and France Expertise, the Directorate of Studies and Financial Forecasts (DEPF) and the General Directorate of the Treasury (DGT) organized a macroeconomic seminar, February 25th 2016 in Rabat.

Co-chaired by Mr. Mohamed CHAFIKI, Director of Studies and Financial Forecasts and Mr. Michel HOUDEBINE, chief economist of the (DGT), this event was attended by several officials of the (DEPF) and Mr. Emmanuel Massé, Chief of Macro-economic policy and European Affairs and Mrs. Isabelle Benoteau, Deputy Head of Pensions and redistribution Board.

The seminar consisted of three sessions. The first one was dedicated to the analysis of France and Moroccan international situation. The second session addressed issues related to economic growth and productivity and the last one focused on the assessment of the impact of the economic and social reforms.

​ At the conclusion of this meeting, both sides welcomed the quality and wealth of such discussions that make these seminars an opportunity to strengthen the growing interest of both parties in promoting and further consolidating this cooperation.
