"We are proud of this stand with such a large number of visitors." It is in these terms that Mr. Mohammed BOUSSAID, Minister of Economy and Finance, expressed his feelings about the Moroccan participation in the World Exposition "MILAN EXPO 2015», held in Milan, Italy.

In a statement to the Arab-speaking newspaper ‘Al Ahdat Al Maghribia’, May, 13th 2015, Mr. BOUSSAID stated that the stand representing the Kingdom of Morocco in this exhibition reflects an important part of our culture and our traditions through its beautiful architecture and exhibits.

“We are, sincerely, proud of this stand around which I had discussions with a number of visitors and found that it was overcrowded. For years, and since the launch of the Green Morocco Plan set under the leadership of His Majesty the King, Morocco makes a breakthrough in this area both in terms of the diversification of products, their packaging and their presentations, as well as in terms of the exporting strength of this sector, "advanced the Minister of Economy and Finance.

Moreover, and while recalling the theme of " Milan Expo 2015" that questions the way to feed the people of the world and make energy, friendly to life, Mr. BOUSSAID stressed that Morocco, through the Green Morocco Plan and its major energy strategies implemented over the last few years, which enabled it to ensure energy opportunities through renewable energies and clean energies, is now considered a model in several areas, particularly in the agricultural and energy sectors, thanks to the Royal guidance.

It should be mentioned that Her Royal Highness Princess Lalla Hasnaa chaired Saturday the celebration ceremony of the National Day of Morocco at the Universal Exhibition " Milan Expo-2015" and officially inaugurated the Moroccan pavilion in this event planetary scale, taking place from May 1st to October 31st at the Rho exhibition Centre in Milan- Italy, under the theme "Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life".
