The Minister of Economy and Finance receives His Royal Highness the Hereditary Grand Duke of Luxembourg who leads a delegation of businessmen

Mr. Mohammed BOUSSAID, Minister of Economy and Finance, received Monday, April 27th, 2015 in his department in Rabat, His Royal Highness the Grand Duke, Prince Guillaume and his Royal Highness the Grand Duchess Heiress, the Princess Stephanie of Luxembourg, who were accompanied by the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economy, Mr. Stephen Schneider.
 

Having noted the excellent relations between the two countries, the Minister of Economy and Finance and His Royal Highness the Hereditary Grand Duke noted their common commitment to take advantage from the economic potential available in both countries.

Prince Guillaume, who, started Monday a visit to Morocco, chairs a delegation of Luxembourg's businessmen made up of a bout forty companies dedicated to finance and new technologies. This meeting is likely to enable economic operators of the Grand Duchy to open up new channels of cooperation with their Moroccan counterparts and develop business opportunities.

​To be noted that trade between Morocco and Luxembourg fall short of the requirements and potential of both countries. In November 2014, Moroccan exports to Luxembourg reached just 120,000 euros and imports are just over 11 million euros.
