Highlights

Within the framework of cooperation between the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) of Morocco and the Marseille Center for Mediterranean Integration (CMI) and in collaboration with the ISESCO, a meeting of experts was devoted April 10th , 2013 in Rabat, to the issue of knowledge Economy on the theme : "a new development approach for Morocco: What roadmap for knowledge-based economy ? ".  This event was an opportunity for representatives of the public (central and local), private sectors and academic institutions to have an update on the efforts, plans and initiatives underway in Morocco on the basis of the four pillars of the knowledge economy (the economic and institutional regime, education, innovation and ICTs).

Apart from this meeting, Mr. Nizar BARAKA, Minister of Economy and Finance and Mr. Mats KARLSSON, CEO of CMI signed a memorandum of understanding, making the continuity of co-operation between Morocco, the founding country and the CMI permanent.
