His Majesty the King and the Head of the French State chaired the signing ceremony of several agreements

His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist him, together with His Royal Highness Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan, His Royal Highness Prince Moulay Rachid and Their Royal Highnesses the Princesses Lalla Salma, Lalla Meryem and Lalla Hasna, and the President of the French Republic, François Hollande, accompanied by Mrs Valérie Trierweiler, headed, Wednesday, April 3rd, 2013 at the Royal Palace in Casablanca, the signing of several bilateral cooperation agreements in various fields.

Mr. Nizar Baraka, Minister of Economy and Finance, signed during this ceremony :

  • A memorandum of understanding on the continued funding of Pillar II of the Green Morocco Plan (20 million euros). This agreement was signed jointly by Mr. Dov Zerah, Director General of the French Development Agency, Mr. Aziz Akhannouch, Minister of Agriculture and Maritime Fishing and Mr. Sijilmassi Tariq, Chief Executive Officer of Crédit Agricole of Morocco ;
  • the agreement on the building of the Ecole Centrale in Casablanca, signed by Mrs. Geneviève Fioraso, Mr. Abdelkader Amara, Minister of Industry, Trade and New Technologies and Mr. Lahcen Daoudi;
  • A memorandum of understanding on the financing of employment and skills development program (50 million euros), signed by Mr. Dov Zerah, and Mr.Abdelouahed Souhail, Minister of Employment and Vocational Training ;
  • the agreement on the loan of 30 million euros in the National Office of Electricity and Drinking Water (ONEE) for funding the program to improve the drinking water performance , which was signed by Mr. Dov Zerah and Mr.Ali Fassi Fihri, Director General of ONEE.

Were present at the time of the signing ceremony of these agreements, the Head of Government, the Sovereign advisors, the government members and the official delegation accompanying the French President and the members of the honorary committee.
