The Council of Government, met Thursday April 5th 2012 in Rabat under the chairmanship of the Head of Government, Mr. Abdelilah Benkirane, adopted the Bill on the clearance of the 2009 budget.
The aforementioned Bill was introduced by Mr. Abdelkader Amara, Minister of Industry, Trade and New Technologies, on behalf of Mr. Nizar Baraka, Minister of Economy and Finance.
Indeed, it includes ten items on the final results of the general budget justification, the special Treasury accounts and independently run state services, as well as the additional appropriations for the settlement of overruns in terms of operating costs and public debt, as well as the cancellation of operating funds not committed by the end of the budget year 2009.
The text pertains also to removing investment spending not included in the expenditure commitments approved by the State expenditure control.
It relates, moreover, to the transfer of the excess of expenses over revenue of the general budget to be added to the overdraft account of the Treasury, as well as on the credit or debit balance for each type of special accounts Cash at the end of fiscal year 2009.
