Signature of an agreement on the repatriation of Moroccans residing in Libya, Tunisia, Egypt and Ivory Cost.

Mr. Salaheddine Mezouar, Minister of Economy and Finance and Mr. Mohammed AMEUR, Minister Delegate to the Prime Minister of Moroccans Residing Abroad signed March 11th 2011 at the Ministry of Economy and Finance an agreement on the repatriation of Moroccans residing in Libya, Tunisia, Egypt and Ivory Cost.

On this occasion, the Minister of Economy and Finance reminded of the High Directives of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist him, to meet the expectations of Moroccans residing abroad and strengthen their links with their home country. He also stressed the Royal Instructions for measures required to ensure the repatriation of Moroccans residing abroad who are in distress and insecurity wishing to return to Morocco after the deteriorating situation in those countries.

Mr. Salaheddine MEZOUAR reiterated the Government`s commitment to ensure the success of this initiative and other potential operations for the repatriation of Moroccans residing abroad who are in similar conditions.
