Moroccan-French bilateral cooperation in the field of investment

The Moroccan-French bilateral cooperation in the field of investment was the focus of discussions held January 26th 2011 in Rabat between senior-level officers at the Ministry of Economy and Finance and a French parliamentary delegation led by Mr. Jean Roatta, Chairman of the Franco-Moroccan friendship association.

During this meeting, the issues raised by both parties focus on the impact of the international crisis on Moroccan economy, the fight against poverty and unemployment, as well as the adequacy of training to job market.

Both sides also discussed the French-speaking community issue, the advanced status of Morocco with the EU and the role of the Moroccan community in France.

After this meeting, both sides welcomed, the excellence of Franco-Moroccan links and good cooperation between the two countries in various fields, including investment.
