Signature of the operational program for monitoring cooperation actions between the MEF and ADETEF

The Secretary General of the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) and the President of the Ministries` Agency for International Technical Cooperation in charge of French Economy and Finance (ADETEF), signed Thursday, January 20th 2011 at the MEF headquarters, the "Operational Programme for monitoring the actions of cooperation between the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Kingdom of Morocco and the Ministries responsible for French Economy and Finance covering the period 2010-2012 ".

 

This program aims to achieve the pre-identified cooperation projects in collaboration with the two departments` structures, as part of the general guidance letter for cooperation signed in Paris, July 2nd 2010, and set priorities regarding the implementation of the ministerial cooperation agreement in 2007.

"An ambitious and diversified program that encourages transverse cooperation to further boost cooperation between the ministries departments of both countries," stressed the Secretary General of MEF, stating that the signing of this program is a further step to a process of long-standing cooperation between the two parties.

For her part, Mrs. Agnes ARCIER, while emphasizing the regularity of cooperation between ADETEF and MEF, clarified that the signing of this program is a gateway to the future and the diverse members of the French delegation represent the commitment of the French Ministries responsible for Economy and Finance to implement this program.

After the ceremony, the Secretary General of MEF and the President of the ADETEF welcomed the level and quality of such cooperation, driven by a shared belief in the interest of trade for the mutual benefits, in order to progress in implementing reforms. They also reaffirmed their willingness to work towards consolidating the achievements of the cooperation, further strengthen their partnership and ensure the conditions for its success and sustainability.

It is worth mentioning that, besides the President of the ADETEF, the French delegation is made up of Mrs. Christine BRODIAK, Financial counsellor at the Embassy of France in Rabat, representing the General Directorate of Treasury and Mr. Eric Gissler, ADETEF Coordinator , Mr. Bruno STRULLOU, tax expert and Mr. Jean-Jacques Le Roux, general manager of public finances.
