On Thursday, November 25th 2010 ,an agreement was signed at the Ministry of Economy and Finance between Morocco and the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development (AFESD) amounting to 1, 8 billion dirhams to finance Tangier Med II project (1.4 billion dirhams) and the dam project in Dar Khrofa in Larache (352 million dirhams).
This signing ceremony was chaired by Mr. Salaheddine Mezouar, Minister of Economy and Finance and Mr. Abdellatif Youssef Ahmed, Chairman of the Board of (AFESD).
Were also present during the ceremony Mrs. Amina Benkhadra, Minister of Energy and Mines, Water and Environment, Mr. Abdelkebir Zahoud, Secretary of State to the Minister of Energy, Mines, Water and Environment, in charge of Water and Environment, Mr. Jamal Mohamed Benjelloun, Secretary General of the Ministry of Equipment and Transport and Mr. Toufiq Ibrahimi, CEO of the Tangier Mediterranean Special Agency (TMSA).
