The "NICT Trophy" awarded to the system "BADR" New information and communication technologies

During the 9th edition of the Convention France- Maghreb held in Paris on February 05th 2010, the ?NICT Trophy France Maghreb "of public sector modernization was awarded this year to Customs and Indirect Taxes Administration (ADII) for its Internet Clearance Portal System BADR. In the presence of several French and international figures, this award was presented to Mr. Abdellatif Zaghnoun, Director General of ADII. In his speech, Mr. Zaghnoun was pleased to share this award with all the staff of the Customs Department and with partners who joined and supported the setting up of this clearance system since its genesis and this, in recognition of commendable efforts for the implementation of this project and the achievement of the Moroccan clearance online system.

Established in May 2002, the France - Maghreb agreement, a conference and exhibition organized each year, brings together senior executives, managers and officials as well as professionals from various sectors of the participating countries such as (France, Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia).

The main aim behind such an event is to promote cooperation between economic and social operators from France and Maghreb countries through meetings and debates of knowledge capitalization and know-how to anticipate the challenges of the future and help develop projects that create wealth in the southern Mediterranean. Morocco, represented, firstly, by ADII and, secondly, by the Regional Investment Centers of Meknes-Tafilalt and Souss Massa Draa, participated in this event to promote its clearance online system "Badr" and highlight the investment policy outlines advocated by the two aforementioned regions.
