With respect to the cooperation between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Republic of Djibouti, Mr. Salah TOUBEH EGUEH Inspector General of Finance together with his colleagues Mr. DAHER ABDILLAHI Moussa, Inspector of Finance and Mr. IHAB NADIM Saad, Assistant Director of Audit Treasury visited, from November 24th to December 4th, 2009, the General Inspectorate of Finance in Morocco.
After an introductory work session hosted by Mr. Abdellatif Bennani, the General Inspector of Finance, Messrs. ELBERRIA Abdelali, BOUSTA Moha, Aziz ALOUANE, Hassan Zaoui, Abdessadek BOUZIDI, HAJARABI Jalil, Mustafa ZAFFOU, Younes ELKHADI and Ahmed GAOUZI conducted ,for the benefit of the delegation ,seminars on the functions and organization of the IGF, the role of this institution in supporting reforms to control public expenditure, the audit of financed projects and Public Enterprises and its information system.
Furthermore, the IGF held information days on behalf of the delegation of Djibouti at the Budget Department, the General Treasury of the Kingdom Department and the Department of Public Enterprises and Privatization.
At the end of their meeting, Mr. Abdellatif Bennani, Inspector General of Finance, received the delegation of Djibouti for a post-meeting evaluation.
Reaffirming the good relations the Kingdom of Morocco and the Republic of Djibouti maintain, Mr. Bennani stressed his commitment to strengthening cooperation between the two countries namely the control of public finances through the exchange of experiences and expertise. He also reported that the Moroccan IGF is willing to support the IGF of Djibouti and receiving Finance inspectors of the Republic of Djibouti to conduct practical training in auditing and control.
