Mister Salaheddine MEZOUAR, Minister of Economy and Finance, with Mister. Noureddine Bensouda, Director General of Taxes and Mister Michel Bouvier, Professor at University Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne and President of FONDAFIP, opened the 3rd edition of the International Symposium on Public Finance organized by the Ministry of Economy and Finance and the Association of the International Public Finance Foundation, on the topic: "Public Finance in Morocco and in France: stakes and responses to crisis.» Rabat, September 12th, 2009.
Many Moroccan and French personalities attended the event held over two days. They discussed the crisis impact on economic and financial systems of both countries and on financial and budgetary means implemented within the scope of the recovery. The theme was tackled in three main areas:
- The impact of the crisis on public finances;
- Financial and fiscal instruments of recovery;
- The fiscal instruments of recovery.
